We had found one of these at a gentleman's house selling his old restaurant equipment. Once we tried it, we realized it was awesome. It seasons very easily and holds the seasoning very well. We were pleased to find this item online. It turns out wonderful oven cooked food items. As well, its design is very unique and interesting and it is very large. The price was good too. This pot is very heavy duty and I would recommend it to anyone seeking a high quality roasting pot/dutch oven.

Love the pot but it does have some issues. I'm having a hard time seasoning it so it may be worth is to order it pre-seasoned. The pot is a bit rough around the edges and I don't think it will ever provide the smooth, flat surface that you usually get from seasoned cast iron. You will need two burners the pot can straddle in order to cook on the stove top with it. On the plus side, it is the perfect size in which to cook a large pot of stew, beans, or jambalaya. The crawfish design on the lid is fun, but the lid does not have a handle and can be cumbersome to remove and put back on.
